Dr. Ronald Yee
A native San Franciscan, Dr. Yee graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1980 from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in biology. He received the outstanding senior recognition from the president of the university.
In 1984 he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California San Francisco, the second highest-ranked dental school in the United States. At UCSF he was elected class president and received both the prestigious Willard Fleming Scholarship and the Preventive Dentistry and Community Health Award.
Dr. Yee has been in full time private practice since 1984. He is among the leading cosmetic dental care providers in the San Francisco area, and offers a comprehensive variety of services in cosmetic, restorative, and emergency dentistry .
He has participated in extended, advanced study groups in all areas of dentistry at respected institutions such as U.C.S.F, University of the Pacific, University of Texas San Antonio, Schuster Center for Professional Development and the Dr. Peter Dawson Center.
Dr. Yee is an Associate Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at U.C.S.F. since 1984, where he received the teaching in excellence award in 1992.
He was selected as the Gurley memorial keynote lecturer at the U.C.S.F Alumni Meeting in 1999. He served as course director of the Advanced General Dentistry Study Group at U.C.S.F from 1997-1999, educating practicing dentists on cutting edge dentistry. For his extended involvement with the Homeless Dental Clinic at U.C.S.F., he was awarded the Outstanding Clinical Instructor recognition in 2002.
Dr. Yee volunteers his time freely with the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Enterprise for High School Students, Richmond District Y.M.C.A., and Wah Mei Preschool. He also served as the volunteer dentist for St. Anne's Nursing Home and is a certified CPR instructor for the American Red Cross.
Ron and his wife Jeannie have been married since 1988. Their family resides in the Twin Peaks area in San Francisco. He is an amateur gourmet cook with formal training and enjoys traveling, photography, racket sports, and bicycling.
